Second Life Mesh Commissions

August 2024 Pricing Guide (subject to change)

I am currently accepting commissions for projects that interest me and are aligned with my current skill set. I am mesher, not an interior designer or a landscaper. I am open to collaborating with interior designers and landscapers on a project by project basis for clients.

Materials and Quality:

All custom 3D models and skyboxes are created using PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials by default. PBR materials ensure the highest quality and realistic textures for your projects.

Legacy materials (non-PBR) can be provided upon request, but will incur an additional charge due to the extra work involved in adapting and texturing these materials.

Exclusivity:

Custom means it is for you only. The objects will not be re-sold in-world, marketplace or to private buyers. Due to the nature of creativity and inspiration sourcing (ie Pinterest), I cannot promise another client will not ask for the same design. But I will do my best to make sure they are unique on their own.

Payment Terms:

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required before work begins.

The remaining balance is due upon delivery.

Payments are accepted in Linden Dollars (L$) & USD via PayPal.

Permissions:

Standard permissions for all custom 3D models and skyboxes include Copy and Modify rights. Transfer permissions can be provided for an additional fee, which will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins.

Revisions and Changes:

Up to two rounds of minor revisions are included in the initial price.

Additional revisions or major changes will incur extra charges, which will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding.

Delivery Time:

Delivery times will vary based on the complexity and size of the project. An estimated delivery time will be provided upon acceptance of the project. Most projects can be completed within 5 business days.

Rush orders may be accommodated for an additional fee, depending on availability.

Refunds and Cancellations:

Due to the custom nature of the work, refunds are not provided once the project has begun. If the project is cancelled before completion and delivery, there is no refund on the deposit.

Client Responsibilities:

Clients are responsible for providing clear and detailed requirements and any necessary assets or references for the project.

Timely feedback is essential to ensure the project stays on schedule.

By commissioning custom 3D models or skyboxes, you agree to these terms and conditions.
